Clear the sign before you grab
Stealing is the listed way to get eggs: from islands, and from other players. The number that decides the run is the recommended boat power posted at the zone. Recorded signs include 1,200 on the first gated stretch, 21,000 on a Tundra or Tondura sign, 30,000 on another reading of the ice approach, 135,000 or 180,000 at Volcano Island, about 1,000,000 at Enchanted Forest, and 20,000,000 at Candy land. Two runs of the same zone can disagree, so read the sign in front of you.
Under the number, defenders shoot the boat apart on the way out. One player who was just short of 1,200 was told by the cannons to come back with more health, and suggested 1,500. Another boat exploded on the Tundra crossing. Durability is what recorded players planned around. Speed comments are only qualitative: a newer hull was "a little bit" faster, or fast enough to lose a pursuer.
Island steal, step by step
- Sail in only after your HP readout is over the sign.
- Go ashore, take the egg, and turn around immediately. Pirates shoot for the whole return.
- You cannot fire while you are holding the egg. Choose the escape line before you pick it up.
- If the boat is taking hits but still floating, hit it with the hammer. A damaged boat can still deliver. A sunk boat loses the egg.
- Place the egg at the base and go again. Recorded players treated this as unlimited, not a daily quest.
A powered boat made pirates unable to catch the runner. An under-powered Volcano raid lost the footrace, and the player went home to raise what they called energy.
Taking an egg from another player
The store text includes stealing from other players. The method shown is to shoot the carrier until the boat sinks, then take the cargo. One stolen horse paid $400 per second. Expect the same against you. Victims call the server over as soon as a theft starts.
Tools seen in those fights:
- A hand gun with ammo, for pirates and players, but not while you hold an egg.
- A boat cannon with a long reload.
- Mines and bombs dropped in the water. They are visible to other players.
- A friend who baits the guards while you grab.
One player thought attacking itself paid cash. No payout number appeared, and the official description credits pets as the money source. Treat PvP cash as unconfirmed.
Shared eggs and empty islands
Island eggs are a shared pile. Busy servers strip the front first. Runs show wholesale resets and short countdown sprints. One crowded server was described as a 5-minute spawn that vanished before a single player could arrive, with five or six people competing. That was his server, not a posted schedule.
If the front is empty, wait for the reset or sail to a stretch you already clear. Burning a trip on a stripped beach does not raise income.
Mistakes that end the haul
- Entering under the sign.
- Planning to shoot back after the egg is in your hands.
- Repairing only after the boat has already sunk.
- Opening several eggs into a full pen, so the new pets pay nothing.
- Chasing a glow into a zone your HP cannot leave.
Pick the egg with the rarity cues and the island list, then bring it home for the hatch steps.
