What the first loop is
Sail For Eggs, by i love tacos yum yum, is a six-player Roblox simulation. The store listing tells you to sail to islands, steal eggs, bring them to your base, hatch rare pets, earn money from those pets, upgrade the boat and base, and steal eggs from other players. Desktop, console, mobile, and tablet are all listed.
Your first finished cycle is smaller than the whole map. Spawn at the base, board the starter canoe, take one nearby egg, place it, hatch it, put the pet in the pen, and spend the first 1,000 cash on the boat before you push the 1,200 gate.
Steal the first egg
- Board the starter boat. Recorded players still called it a canoe on the first look, and boats can be swapped at the base.
- Sail to the closest island. The starting beach has no gate in the recorded runs. Brown, white, and red eggs there are not given names on screen. They hatch low starters such as a chicken at $8 per second, a crab around $1 to $3, a frog at $4, a duck, a turtle, a starfish, or a seal.
- Walk up to an egg and take it. There is no pickup minigame in the recorded runs.
- Sprint back to the boat. Island defenders shoot, and you cannot shoot while the egg is in your hands.
- Some players grab a second egg before leaving, because a sunk boat loses the cargo.
If the boat breaks on the way home, the egg is lost. One run simply found nothing at the wreck. Do not plan on a drop you can pick back up.
Hatch it on the plot
Place the egg on an open pad as soon as you are home. The countdown is printed on that egg. Starter eggs have opened in about 3 seconds. Other recorded timers include 30 seconds, 1 to 4 minutes, 10 minutes on a fat penguin egg, and 26 minutes on a big late egg. Trust the timer you see.
When it is ready, open it. The pet does not walk into the pen by itself. Place it, or equip it if the pen is already full. Only a placed pet starts the per-second cash.
A Hatch with Robux button has been seen on placed eggs. One 10-minute penguin egg offered the skip for 9 Robux. That is one observed price, not a rate card.
Spend the first cash on the boat
Claim the cash at the base when you return. The first ship upgrade has been shown at 1,000 cash. Paying it and then hitting the hull with the hammer moved one boat from about 1,000 HP to about 2,000 HP and opened the route toward the second area.
The sign into that next stretch has been read as 1,200 recommended. A boat under the sign was shelled, and one player who cleared it aimed for 1,500 to 1,600 instead of sitting on the printed number. While you are short, keep stealing on the beach.
The shop has also shown a health x2 offer. The player who bought it could not tell what number it would apply, so read the HP the purchase actually grants before you spend.
What to do on the next return
- Equip the stronger pet before you sail again.
- Sell a weak duplicate only after the better pet is placed. Two parrots sold together for about $800 in one session. That is one sale, not a price list.
- If the pen says it is full, the new hatch earns nothing until you sell, equip, or buy a slot.
- Island eggs are shared. A crowded server can empty a beach, and one player estimated a 5-minute respawn. Other runs saw a reset around the day and night change. Wait for the island you are camping instead of assuming one global clock.
The island gates, egg list, and pet list pick up once that first pet is paying.
