Income starts when the pet is placed
Every confirmed pet is an animal hatched from a stolen egg and kept at the base. The rate is shown when it hatches. Placing it in the pen is what turns the rate on. You can inspect a placed pet and read the current number. One player checked a pet that was "making me four bucks."
Recorded how-to-play text says to collect cash from your animals and that they earn even while offline. One late pen with a mythic ice dragon was shown above a billion earned while the player was away, and another creator treated about 250 per second as enough to cover a day out. How offline pay compares with online pay is not shown. Log off with your best pets already placed.
An unplaced pet pays nothing. That includes a rare hatch that arrived while the pen was full.
Rates are sightings
The same animal has paid different amounts in different runs. A turtle was $35 per second in one video and $70 in another. Seals read 6, 7, and 12. A mythic ice dragon was announced around 3,000 per second at one hatch and $300,000 per second in a later sighting. Those pairs are not averaged into a new stat.
Currency is spoken as dollars, coins, or bucks. No recording shows a formula that multiplies species, size, and mutation. The store listing says sizes and mutations exist. No size-to-income table was on screen. A temporary boat boost with a flashing light lasted about 3 to 4 minutes on one equipped pet. Which pets grant it is not known.
Use the pet pages for the individual sightings. The high end of what was read aloud:
| Pet | Observed per second |
|---|---|
| First boat-egg pet | $1 |
| Crab | $2 to $3, with a mutated crab at $12 |
| Chicken | $8 |
| Parrot | 6 in one run, 12 in another |
| Monkey | $13 to $14 |
| Golden crocodile or golden seal | 12 |
| Walrus | 85 |
| Leopard | 200 |
| Horse | $400 |
| Spirit moth | $600 |
| Rainbow jaguar | 1,000 |
| Huge horse-egg pet | 3,000 |
| Polar bear | 4,000 |
| Magma jelly | 5,000 |
| Legendary deer | 7,000 |
| Silver crystal reindeer | $10,000 |
| Diamond shark | over 10,000 |
| Mythic ice dragon | $3,000 at one callout, $300,000 later |
A starter named Patrick at $1 per second appears in one income table. Other runs describe that first hatch only as a $1 pet or a cheap crab. Patrick is not confirmed as its own species.
What actually changes the number
Marked variants produced the biggest sightings, but the label is not a multiplier sheet. Golden crocodile was celebrated as rich in one clip and a golden seal at 12 per second was called a shame in another. A rainbow-colored egg hatched a common parrot at 6 per second. Read the pet, not the color.
Farther zones raise the ceiling and still drop weak pulls. One player crossed the ice zone and hatched a 7-per-second seal that was worse than pets already at home.
Selling and fusion are not income
Selling pays once. Keep the expensive earners placed, select the cheap hatches, and sell that batch. Equip Best was used so the keepers were not in the sale. No confirmation dialog was shown, so check the selection first.
Genetic Fusion takes one male and one female, consumes both, and can return a weaker pet. One attempt cost 82,000 and came out at 400 per second, below the inputs. The player called it not worth it. A result first read as gold was then corrected to Enchant. Enchant is not counted as a verified mutation because the label was never settled. Breed or fuse only pets you can lose. One player sold lizards and then wished they had been bred first.
A practical order
- Fill every pen slot with a pet whose rate you have read.
- Buy the next pen slot when hatches are sitting idle. The upgrade adds a slot, not a multiplier.
- Push the next boat gate when the sign is affordable, then judge the egg you actually bring home.
- Sparkles, glow, purple shells, and odd colors were the cues players used when the respawn timer forced a fast grab. They are habits, not printed odds.
- Leave fusion alone unless both pets are disposable.
